BLUNDERS RACE CAR PROJECT
We have a restorer who is currently restoring a 1929 Plymouth back to Mud Scramble specification.
This person shall remain nameless at this point just in case any of his Vintage mates get the wrong idea.
The Plymouth will be fully restored using a fully fendered ute body with windscreen and all gauges retained.
Many unwanted items such as bumper lights will be removed and the car will be painted, a number added to the door and maybe a roll bar fitted.
The car will be used for static displays and demonstration runs at race meetings .
If you have a race car restoration on the go, how about you submit what you have and keep us updated with some photos and script. You never know who may be able to help with those hard to find bits.
No our chief editor Terry has not in fact high sided the new Yamaha dirt bike - but he is however excavating the old speedway site for pieces of history .
Neither Terry nor the 500 yard tyre marker are fossils, not even legends.
There it is, check out the Collie Mungulup page for some early racing action and a 2009 walk around slideshow .
