BOULDER OVAL
Boulder Speedway is now Boulder Oval, but operated as a Speedway for Solos, TQ’s and Midgets prior to 1958.
Aub Lawson who also ran Claremont Speedway promoted the Boulder Venue, when Aub left town the track closed.
In 1958 - 1959 local car dealer Joe Camileri reopened the track with the introduction of Stock Car racing.
In October 1962 The Goldfields Rod and Custom Club gained permission from the Boulder Council to hold speedway racing.
The track closed in 1984 when the new Kalgoorlie Speedway was built.
